My "One Sign" philosophy.  

In today's changing real estate market, some people are feeling a pinch. A pinch of reality, or a pinch in the income stream or where ever. 

Some people think the answer is to pollute our landscape with as many for sale signs as they can.  That's not the answer in my book. 

With many studies proving that a majority of home buyers today start and work their search for a home on the internet, the need for more than one sign is virtually eliminated.  If most people are finding out about homes for sale on the internet then why are there so many extra signs up?  Mostly it's the "ME TOO" syndrome.  One person (Realtor or Seller) puts up an extra sign and the next person say's "ME TOO" I have home for sale too, and I don't want you to miss it.  I'm still the best, remember me....etc. etc.

Usually the reason we have so many signs up is because the REALTOR wants to promote themselves or their company.  Many times even forgetting about doing the proper things to market the home itself.  With so many other ways to promote your listings, yourself, and your company to potential buyers, I disagree with the "More Signs" mentality.

If you wish to contribute to a better stewardship of our area, list your home with a me, a REALTOR who understands how to market your home properly and doesn't abuse the use of signage.

Also tell your neighbor about my marketing philosophy so they may have the opportunity to market their home properly.
